Details: The project was an extensive refurbishment of the existing build including an additional 2 storey rooftop extension.
WB Simpson & Sons completed the internal and external tiling, internal wood flooring and the main focal point of the project, the feature staircase.
Porcelain floor tiles and ceramic wall tiles were used throughout the scheme to reception areas, WC cores and amenity areas. The highlight of the tile fit-out works was the striking red ceramic tiling to toilets along with the 3D effect tiles to the bar front in the main reception (supplied by Solus and Domus respectively).
WBS also installed a full Schlüter tanking system to all shower/amenity areas.
The two external terraces were a stand-out item on the project for WB Simpson & Sons. Working collaboratively with RYNO®, we installed a pedestal and joist system to provide a solid base for the porcelain tile decking to both terraces.
The focal point for the project is the stunning feature staircase that projects up through the atrium of the building. We supplied and installed the oak-clad staircase, with intricate detailing of CNC machined grooves and black metal inserts. As you can see, the final effect of the design is striking and one we are incredibly proud of. Additionally, the underside of the stairs, as well as link bridges between levels, were also clad in the same product ensuring a cohesive aesthetic throughout.
