Charity Bike Ride For Place2Be At RideLondon

Billy and Max recently joined the McLaren Construction team to take part in RideLondon, one of the UK’s largest cycling festivals, to raise money for Place2Be.

The RideLondon-Essex 100 route –

London’s iconic Tower Bridge was the stunning new Finish Line for the 2022 RideLondon-Essex 100. It was the first time since RideLondon was created in 2013 that the 100-mile challenge finished at the capital’s famous landmark. The Start Line was on Victoria Embankment and the route then headed out into the Essex countryside for a 65-mile loop before returning to London and the finish at Tower Bridge.

Place2Be –

One in six children and young people now have a diagnosable mental health issue. That’s five children in every classroom with a condition like depression or anxiety.

Place2Be is the UK’s leading school-based mental health charity for the past 25 years, providing support to children, families and school-based staff when they need it most. They can make a real difference to children’s mental health and ensure that children don’t have to face mental health problems alone.

Congratulations to the team for completing the cycle and even more so for raising just over £4K for Place2Be.
