W.B. Simpson and Sons are very proud to have been a part of this restoration project to commemorate the Academy’s 250th Anniversary. The Academy was officially opened by the Queen in March 2018.

We installed approximately 1,500m2 of terrazzo. Much of this features in the brand new lecture theatre but also appears in galleries, stairways and toilets. We laid small mosaics in some bathrooms and French red marble in lobbies and corridors.
